Attorney Jeffrey F. Dorko has served the Berks County community for over 30 years. A Bucknell graduate, Jeff earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1978.
After 2 years serving as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Rank and practicing law for 5 years, Mr. Dorko went on to earn his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.
In 1994, Attorney Dorko was granted a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation (LLM) from Temple University.
Jeff’s gift for explaining complex legal issues in clear everyday language have resulted in frequent speaking engagements before business brokers, commercial real estate agents and community groups.
Affectionately called “The Tortoise”, Jeff has completed 37 marathons as well as several longer ultra-marathons including the Blue’s Cruise 50k run around Blue Marsh Lake.

Cheryl Dorko is a Registered Financial Consultant specializing in retirement income plans as well as tax-preferred investing within trusts. She is registered with FINRA as a Series 24 General Securities Principal. She also holds the Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 securities licenses.
Cheryl Dorko is a graduate of Bucknell University, a licensed stockbroker, and a Registered Investment Advisor Associate. She became the Branch Manager of the Reading branch of Centaurus Financial, Inc. in 2000. Cheryl is also licensed to sell Life Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance.
Cheryl enjoys speaking to community groups as well as financial organizations on her favorite subject “How to Grow and Preserve Your Wealth”. She is a former Secretary of the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Greater Reading and served as Treasurer of the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Cheryl loves to walk along the Tulpehocken River, and spend vacations rafting, hiking, kayaking, and exploring.

Recipient of our Ruby Shoes Award, Debra Hauk serves as Paralegal extraordinaire.
Having been with the firm since its inception in 1993, Deb knows more about estates and estate planning than many attorneys. Her prior experience includes working at two large Philadelphia law firms.
Deb Hauk attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, and is an active member of Good Shepherd UCC, where she is a past president of the church council.
Deb enjoys reading, classic movies, and spending time with her three children and four grandchildren. She resides in Muhlenberg Township with her husband Dr. David Hauk.

The newest member of the team, Beth “Java” Cantor has been keeping us on our toes since 2013. Beth’s contribution to the firm is through client communication, account maintenance, and assisting clients in every way possible.
Her prior experience includes ten years as Executive Assistant at Rudin Management Co, Inc. in New York City where she worked on the Central Park Conservancy, the New York City marathon, and the management of various retail buildings.
Beth majored in business at Drexel University.
Born and raised in Berks County, Beth is married and a mother of two children. She is a member of Kesher Zion Synagogue and enjoys reading, cooking, theatre, and the beach.

Keri Dorko graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned her Master’s Degree in Economics from Temple University.
An analyst at Monitoring Analytics, Keri is also our office go-to person for mathematical formulas, Excel spreadsheets, and advanced analysis.
Keri serves on the Board of Directors of the Ambler Symphony Orchestra. She spends her free time playing Ultimate Frisbee, rock climbing, mountain biking and traveling.
